Accounts Services

Bookkeeping Services

Work can be carried out on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis as suits your requirements. My services include:

Processing day to day business transactions - invoicing, recording payments, expenses etc.

Integration with your accounts software or new software set-up (Xero, Quickbooks, FreeAgent) - if you have a subscription, I can help you maintain your books correctly, or I can set you up with a new subscription.

Bank reconciliations - making sure there are no unexplained outgoings from your business bank account(s).

VAT returns - these can be submitted automatically for you.

Profit and loss account preparation - submission and liaison with an accountant if necessary.

Assistance with year-end account preparation.

Payroll Services

Payroll services

I offer a full payroll management service - payslips, P45s, P60s, payment summaries, pension uploads, RTI (Real Time Information submissions to HMRC) etc.

If you need to make payments to CIS subcontractors, I can also create their payment certificates and submit the payment information to HMRC.

Cloud Accounting Software

If you have manual accounts, I can set up software for you and create an automated version of your accounts and maintain these, giving you regular reports and updates. This will make your invoicing much more efficient and make it easier to chase any late payers. If you are already using an accounts software package, but need assistance, I can help.

I can complete and submit your self assessment tax returns (for individuals, the self-employed, partnerships, landlords etc).

You need to submit self assessment if you are self-employed, are a partner in a business partnership, rent out a property, receive untaxed income (e.g. dividends), or earn over £50,000 whilst in receipt of child benefit.
