Self Assessment Tax Returns

Do you need to submit a self assessment tax return?

You need to submit a return if you are self-employed, are a partner in a business partnership, rent out a property, receive untaxed income (e.g. dividends), or earn over £50,000 (£60,000 from 6 April 2024) whilst in receipt of child benefit.

I can either manage the whole online self assessment tax return process for you, or assist you in completing what many see as a dreaded task. If you wish to switch from paper to online, this can also be arranged. Remember, online submissions have a later deadline! However, to know how much you will owe, it is preferable to submit this well ahead of the deadline as payment of any tax owed is due on the deadline date. If you are already using my services for your bookkeeping, I will submit your self assessment promptly so that you know how much tax you are due to pay.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
